Rick Callaghan

Rick is the Managing Director of the Yaran Group of Companies which includes an indigenous owned and operated management consulting firm, based in South Australia, the Northern Territory and Victoria, focused on clients within the health, not for profit, the mining and resources, defence industries, the community services sectors and a number of other industry sectors.

Prior to Yaran Business Services, Rick spent five years as a senior manager with KPMG and was the lead of their Indigenous Business Group and he also worked with the Health and Human Services Practice, and Forensic Accounting divisions within Australia.

Rick’s consulting work has included engagements across all levels of the government, healthcare system from federal government, undertaking operational evaluations, examinations, quality systems, flexible aged care system design and reviews, we were recently involved as the acting CEO for a six month project involving the transformation and restructuring of an Aboriginal Medical Service servicing 8 very remote clinics and Yaran has been intrinsically involved over then past 5-7 years in significant projects having worked with government and non-government clients in areas of Prisoner Health, Justice, Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Health Services, Child Protection, Youth Services and Community Services commercial development.

David Muller

David has specialised in Management Consulting and Corporate Finance since 1984. He was a Senior Manager at KPMG prior to becoming a Director of his own consulting business in 1995.  David’s particular expertise is in strategic and business planning; corporate governance and financial management training; project implementation; industry and regional planning; feasibility studies; mergers and acquisitions and financial, operational and viability reviews.

David applies his experience across a broad range of industries which includes manufacturing, professional services, food, primary production, Indigenous communities (urban, regional and remote), water and tourism. His experience, facilitation style and project management skills have ensured professional and timely services for all clients.  David is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and a Fellow of Financial Services Institute of Australia.
